2019 SSRL/LCLS Users' Meeting
The Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Lightsource (SSRL) and the Linac Coherent Light Source (LCLS) hosted a joint users' meeting at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratroy on September 24-27, 2019. This annual meeting is a unique opportunity to gather together the lightsource community in a single scientific event that includes numerous presentations in plenary, poster and parallel sessions. Participants are able to learn about current/future facility capabilities and the latest user research as well as to discuss science with colleagues from academia, research laboratories, and industry worldwide.
New: Meet-and-greet sessions to share your ideas and suggestions with representatives of the LCLS and SSRL Users' Executive Committees.
Vote: Cast your ballot before Sept. 27th to elect user representatives to the LCLS and the SSRL Users' Executive Committees (UEC). Important Note: LCLS voting period will be extended to October 11th.
The September 26th plenary session included SLAC, DOE, LCLS, and SSRL updates as well as a townhall discussion with facility directors, invited talks, awards, poster blitz, Poster Session and reception -- including presentation of the Joe Wong Outstanding Poster Awards.
